Fuji Dark Side
Skip the postcard circuit for lava geology, wind caves, quiet forest roads and the north-side lake and forest country.

The terrain is dispersed and rural transit is sparse. A private car makes the geology a coherent story while adapting to mountain weather in real time.
Our proposed Fuji day follows the north-side lakes, lava caves and marked forest paths. The final itinerary is agreed against Asoko Trip’s existing Mt. Fuji Hidden Gems & Aokigahara Forest Private Tour; this page does not promise a separate western-plateau extension.
The shape of the day
- Tokyo pickup and a weather check
- North-side lake viewpoints, including an Oishi Park option
- Saiko lake country and marked Aokigahara paths
- Fugaku Wind Cave or Narusawa Ice Cave, subject to access
- Return to Tokyo
Before you enquire
- Allow around ten hours, including the return drive. Traffic can change the schedule.
- Visibility is never guaranteed. Cave paths can be uneven, low and slippery; tell us about access needs before booking.
- Stay on marked paths. This is a nature and geology visit; we do not build visits around tragedy.
- Admissions, guiding, pickup area and the final route are confirmed in your quote.
